I'm SO glad I finally got around to playing Witness Link
The writing was just plain good, and your prose has a lovely feeling of internet conversationality that I always enjoy in stories :3
The textual descriptions of the mutilation / amputation scene and the... aftermath (:3) felt like absolute revelry. The self-deprication, the guilt, the viscera, everything feels like one disgusting bloodied and cum-stained slab of meat - in the best way possible <3
Additionally, Dizzy's internal thoughts and thought spirals are literally just... how they feel irl and you managed to capture them beautifully. You're so real for that
Lastly, magical girls goind through trauma is never something I'll get tired of. Very swag

I also read through your Author Notes at the end and agree with your approach! I'm proud of you for getting something out there, even if you had to sacrifice scope and clean project structure in the process. "Placeholders that stuck" is the correct mindset for finishing stuff in game jams, and I would love to see where you take it from here, if you put more dev work into it. Especially possibly character visuals? Would go crazy,,

woah thank you so much!! i'm glad you enjoyed it and happy to hear all of that came across well. agreed on magical girl trauma. madoka magica was kind of formative for us as a child i think lol.
and yeah, we've mostly been thinking about what to do with chapter 2 but now that you've brought it up we def wanna work more on the dev side of it. we've been thinking about remaking it using more plain HTML than Twine macros so we can have more control, but we need to experiment because i don't know how annoying Twine is going to be about that. i don't think the game will ever have renpy vn style character dialogue portraits, but we do definitely want to add some sort of illustrations/visuals at some point featuring the characters.
thank you again for your comment. recently we've kind of gotten down on ourselves about Witness Link in comparison to other yurijam projects but this has helped boost our confidence again, especially since its coming from another awesome eroguro maker :3. it really does mean a lot!!
